Soccer: Four Winners; Football: Three Losses

(icean City was powered hv Hrenden Gallagher who accounted for three goals to defeat Atlantic City 5-1 Jim Milligan and Frank Kd wards finished off the win by netting goals for the I (aiders Larry Delfiner prevented a shutout with an AC goal in the third quarter Ocean City also made an impressive comeback against Milvillc to capture another victory Milvillc owned a 3-0 lead after two periods, but the battle had just liegun Haiders Frank Kd wards and Jamie McKlgin came to life and
evened the score in the fourth period Jim Milligan stepped in with a direct hit at 3:50 into overtime to secure an O.C. win WILDWOOI) CATHOLIC and Middle Township had a close encounter early in the week, but Fat MacFarlane thought it was too close for comfort and decided to do something about it. The Crusader leader booted one in the final period to give Catholic the game A first period goal by Panther James Carmen and a second period goal by Crusader Andy Weiss set up the tie for MacFarlane to break, giving the Crusaders a 3-0 record Lower Cape May delivered a first loss to Wiidwood Catholic dropp ing them to 3-1 by the week's end The match was
knotted with two goals each halfway through the fourth quarter After losing Bruce Calverley (ejected) and Kevin Jackson (injured), the Capers called on Keith Jackson to pick up the slack. Jackson went to work by making a 30-yard deposit into the Crusader net. for a final score of 3-2. Middle Township's James Carmen and Sean Smith put a couple of unassisted shots passed Sacred Heart for a 2-0 lead that turned into a 2-1 win after Sacred Heart's Mike Fralinger netted a penalty kick in the fourth period.
