Civic Club [ Will Mark 45th Year AVALON - The Women's Civic Club of Avalon will celebrate its 45th anniversary at the final 1985 meeting Oct. 28 at the Wildwood Country Club. Reception will be at 12, followed by luncheon at 12:30. New officers will be installed: president. Pettifer, director of interpretation and collections, Wheaton Historical Association, Wheaton Village, Millville, will present a short history of glassmaking in New Jersey, followed by a slide presentation of the Wheaton Glass Museum Pettifer was graduated from Syracuse University and is secretary of the Creative Glass Center of America.
