Halloween Dance Set

CAPE MAY - The city will sponsor its Second annual Halloween dance in Convention Hall 8:30 - midnight Friday. Oct. 25. The evening will be highlighted by the music of Hal Davis' Orchestra and a costume contest. Prizes for the costume contest are being donated by the Chalfonte Hotel and Alexander's Restaurant.

Recreation Programs Are Open CAPE MAY — The city offers more programs as part of its fall recreation schedule. There is a senior citizen swim 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday. Wednesday and Friday. Coed Adult Night is open to all men and women 18 years and up. The gym and pool are open for exercise and enjoyment Monday. Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m. FAMILY NIGHT is a family oriented program in which parents and children may exercise in the gym and pool 7-9 p.m. Saturday. All children must be accompanied by their parents or guardian. Youth Hour, which precedes Family Night 5:45-6:45 Saturday, is a chance for children 17 and under to enjoy the pool and gym without a parent or guardian. All of the open programs are held at the Elementary School on Lafayette Street. Call the Department of Civic Affairs at 884-8411, ext. 20 or 27 for further information. Square Dance In Cape May CAPE MAY - The Bayshore Square Dance Club will have a Mainstream-Plus level dance 2-4 p.m. Sunday. In Convention Hail here with Joe Landi as caller. This dance is in conjunction with Victorian Week, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts.
