Laymen Conducting Services

WILDWOOD CREST - Services begin Sunday at the Crest Community Church with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. The adult class is reading the Old Testament and is currently studying the Book of Exodus. The 11 a.m. worship service will be led by Robert

Patterson, as October is Lay Persons Monday. The responsive reading will be given by Norma Harrison. Dr. Ted Johnson, as guest speaker, will deliver the morning message. The adult choir will sing the anthem under the direction of Bette Van Dyke, organist.

The children's choir will also perform. A NURSERY is available during all services. The "Time Machine" is in operation during the worship service for children in first through third grades, with videos, lessons and crafts. The Ladies Aid Society is sponsoring a bus trip to The Gallery in Philadelphia Monday. Nov. 4. The Youth Group is once again meeting and planning activities. It meets Sunday mornings at 9:45.

CAPE MAY - The Franklin Street United Methodist Church, Lafayette and Franklin Streets, has begun a Sunday School program. Anyone interested in

registering for the Sunday School should call Dr. Donald Tabler at 884-3792 or James Middleton at 884-3255. Youngsters may also register at the church building 10 a.m. Sunday. Classes begun at this point are for children pre-first through the sixth grade.

First UMC, Cape May CAPE MAY - The First United Methodist Church will hold a covered dish dinner 5:30 p.m. this Sunday in Lyle Hall. Following the dinner Kenneth Adams will present a program on the Christian Literature Crusade Ministry. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. Worship is at 11 a.m. Rev.
