VILLAS - Alfreda I Davis, widow of Lower Township Deputy Mayor Joseph Davis, announced , Friday that three of their grandchildren and a friend would be campaigning over thfc weekend for former Mayor Peggie Bieberbach in her bid to complete the late deputy mayor's term. Disgusted with the local regular Republican organization. Mrs. Davis, a lifelong Republican, changed her voter registration to Democrat last month and urged others to do the same TRENTON - Assembly man Joseph W. Chinnici <R., 1st Disti has released the names of 16 organizations which have endorsed his candidacy for reelection Nov. 5. The same statewide groups have endorsed the candidacy of Assemblyman Guy F. Muziani as well.

The state organizations which have endorsed the two legislators include the New Jersey Education Association. CumberlandCape May ; the New Jersey Business and IndustryAssociation. the Glass Bottle Blowers Association, Local 9; the New Jersey Association of Realtors; the New Jersey Organization for a Better State and the Teamsters Joint Council 73. The incumbents are also endorsed by the New Jersey Auto Dealers Association; the Automatic Merchandising Council of New Jersey, the New Jersey Bankers Associa-

tion; the New Jersey Dental Association; the New Jersey Certified Public Accountants Association, Lawyers Encouraging Government and Law; the New Jersey Soft Drink Association; the New Jersey Savings League and the Atlantic-Cape May Pharmaceutical Association. DENNISVILLE - Two first time candidates in the municipal election in Dennis township Nov. 5 are running under the slogan "Making Needed Changes Together". The Republican candidates are Harry L. Creamer and Charles ( Bud ) Brittingham Sr. Creamer, a lifelong resident. is a past member of the Belleplain Volunteer Fire Co.; trustee and treasurer of the Cape May County Little League and chairman of the township zoning board of adjustment. He is a member of the United Vietnam Veterans of America. Creamer has been with the New Jersey Department of Corrections 15 years, is married, and father of two sons. His running mate, Brittingham. is a four-year resident of the township. He had 20 years active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard, and is a life member of the Coast Guard Petty Officers Association. He is a member of the American Legion and of the Loyal Order of Moose. Married, he is the father of two sons. NORTH CAPE MAY - M M. Wannee Olah. VILLAS — Councilman David Brand has endorsed Thomas H. Clydesdale for the vacancy on the Lower Tonwship Council. Brand stated; "It is with great pleasure that I announce my endorsement of Tom Clydesdale for the vacant councilman-at-large seat on the Lower Township Council. I believe that Tom's many years of experience in public life make him far away the best qualified candidate in the race. I think the people of Lower Township are fortunate to have a man with Tom's demonstrated background and ability to represent them. "After 15 months on council I am satisfied that

the most crucial quality that the new councilman-at-large must have is the ability to work with the rest of the council." Brand declared. "What we need on the council is a little harmony. I believe that Tom is the only candidate in the field with the demonstrated ability to work with people." MIDDLE TOWNSHIP - Senator Bill Bradley (D - New Jersey) has announced in Washington that he is endorsing Township Committeeman Charles M. Leusner's bid for reelection to a second term Township Committee. In making the announcement, Bradley said. "Chuck Leusner is a conscientious and capable local elected official who has established a reputation of fairness, integrity, and hard work. That is why I support his re-election and look forward to working with him during the next three years." NORTH CAPE MAY - Expressing her concern for Lower Township residents "who are not getting the true facts in political statements being issued by her opponents." M.M. "Peggie" Bieberbach, candidate for a council-at-large seat in Lower Township Nov. 5, has challenged her two oponents to debate. She called for a format which would be non-partisan and in which questions would be supplied by the news media. NORTH WILDWOOD - City GOP Leader Tarbotton announces that the Men's Republican Club Oct. 7 endorsed the following candidates for election to office in the Nov 5 general election: Governor, Tom Kean ; Assemblymen Joe Chinnici and Guy Muziani, Freeholder Jim Kilpatrick; Mayor Lewis Vinci, Councilman at Large Ralph Johnson; 1st Ward Councilman Lewis Ostrander ; 2nd Ward Councilmen John Janoski and Aldo Palombo Tarbotton also stated that the North Wildwood Campaign Headquarters was opened at 7th and New Jersey Avenues and that a full schedule of events has been planned, including a door to dooF campaign. ERMA — Co-chairman Harry (Junior) Ernst and John Koitsch, of Jack Moran's campaign for a seat on Lower Township's Council, in a press release, declared they were overwhelmed at the success of an Oct. 6 kickoff fund raiser held at businessman Louis Lambert's Thousands Summers Estate here. Attending were, Sen. James Hurley and Robert Kay, Assemblymen Guy Muziani and Joseph Chinnici, and Freeholder James Kilpatrick. Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton, introduced the G.O. P. -endorsed candidate. Moran said that he is taking his campaign to the streets and that he and his workers will be knocking on doors during the month of October.
