Winner of the Skylark Buick on the lawn of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church was Ticket Number 53968. F X. Windfelder, Baltimore. Md Saturday. Oct. 12. was the evening of the car drawing in the Parish Hall. Ladies of the Altar and Rosary Society supplied coffee, tea and homemade cakes provided by Annemarie Corrigan. Catherine Fitzpalrick, Nettie Mescolotto. Theresa Hanscher, Betty Conally, Mary Delany. May Lenoir. Mo Sutter. Marge Markley. Kalhryn and Helen Monaghan. Julia Murphy. Dolores Nolan, and Mollie Kazlow. Music was supplied all evening by Angelo Garrone and his accordion. It was a fitting ending to the drawing of the lucky winner by Agnes N eh ring — the person responsible for making sure there was always someone on duty in the Victorian Car Chance Box in front of the church. It surely was a job well done. Perhaps next year, the winner will be a Cape May-ite! HERE ARE TWO impor tant dates which require jotting down in your date book — because of a change. One is the monthly meeting of the Atar of the Sea Altar and Rosary Society which has been changed to the SECOND Wednesday of each month — previously. it was the third Wednesday. This was done so as to enable members to enjoy their Victorian Towers Bingo Game, which was on the same day. Now under the new date the November meeting will be the 13th. December meeting is the 1 1th — everything else is the same insofar as Mass. etc. Another change involves the Cape May Women's Republican Club. Its October meeting will still be the last Monday of the month, but will be in the daytime instead of evening Board meeting will be 12 noon, followed by the general meeting at 1 p.m. at the Gold Whale. Marquis de Lafayette. ANYONE interested in learning how to make rosaries" Or. perhaps you do know how and want to

help. Kay Goldy of the Victorian Towers is in charge of this project. Previously 8,000 rosaries were made and distributed at the Pilgrimage VII in Washington. D C. at the Immaculate Conception Shrine. Now. Star of the Sea in Cape May is once again going to make sure all who

wish will be given rosaries, says Msgr Patrick J. Madden, pastor. We won't have to wait for the next pilgrimage, which ordinarily would be in two years. . but, instead, having your own rosary and reciting it. is the goal for the surrounding areas. Call Kay if you can help. . it's 884-5866
