Costume Parade , Ball Hits AVALON — The success of the Avalon Masquerade Ball goes to the enthusiasm showed by over 150 costumed participants. A new event this year by the Recreation Department was attended by more than 450 people — A parade of costumes before the judges: Walt and Naomi Murphy, Elli and Frank Smith and Joanne and Jim MacVaugh created hoots and hollers from the audience.
