Harry Walters, is trying to build new support for the idea of hiring veterans And for small business people. it could be the perfect match, he adds. NFIB surveys show that small firms have a hard time finding and keeping good employees The VA's Walters says hiring veterans can help solve that problem because veterans "are trained in leadership, they usually have some highly developed skill, they perform under pressure and they are performance oriented."
