No Occupancy Permit, But Home 'Occupied'

By JOE ZELNIK COURT HOUSE - Sue Karaso. co-chairman of the Court House Neighborhood Association, charged yesterday that' the Court House Convalescent Center building was being used without an occupancy permit. Karaso said there were 20 to 25 persons at work at the Magnolia Drive facility last week. And she said this also violated a "stay" by the Office of Regulatory Services of the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) That Oct. 4 document, responding to a law suit by the association against the nursing home, ordered that the center "...shall not use or occupy the subject premises until a final decision on appeal has been made in this matter."
