] 'Free' Shopping Sturdy Project
STONE HARBOR - A I "free" Christmas shopping | spree for residepts of the I Cape Care Center in Court J House will take place | Saturday. Dec. 7 at the | center, thanks to employes I of Sturdy Savings and Loan I and the generosity of comI munity members. This is the second year I for the project, which is sponsored by Sturdy employes. Last year, the employes and citizens throughout Cape May County donated items to the Eastern Shore Nursing Home so residents there could find Christmas gifts for their families and friends without leaving the facility or spending money. • THE PROGRAM last year was a complete success and employes from each of our five offices will be donating their gifts and time to the effort again this year." said John Armour, president of Sturdy "We want to do what we can to help make the holidays happy for as many people as possible." he said Project coordinator Lenore Donohue. also manager of Sturdy's Court House office, said this year's drive is underway and any donations from community members would be appreciated. drive and we hope to receive the same outpouring of generosity as we have in the past." Items can be dropped off at any of the following Sturdy Savings and Loan offices: in Stone Harbor at
94th Street and 3rd Avenue; in Dennisville at Rt. 47 and Woodbine Road; in Court House at 17 S. Main St.; !n North Cape May at Breakwater Plaza; and in Avalon at 2628 Dune Dr.
