Fund Benefit Saturday
GREEN CREEK - The annual beef 'n beer to benefit the Joseph M. Norton Scholarship Fund will be held 8-11 p.m. Saturday at the Green Creek Fire Hall. Norbury's Landing Road and Route 47 Music for dancing will be provided by the Kentucky Dave Band. Tickets will be available at the door or from any member of the committee The fund is named for Joseph M Norton, who attended Middle Township High School and played third base for the Panthers. I^ater he was employed by the county, and died in an auto accident in April. 1982. TIIE SCHOLARSHIP idea came from Charles Leusner, chairman, now a township committeeman, who was one of Norton's high school teachers, and Norton's mother. Marie Britton. David Topic Credit For Women COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County Commission on the Status of Women is sponsoring a discussion entitled Personal Credit for Women. 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, public meeting room of the County Library. Mrs. Patricia A. Nesbitt. assistant vice president of Marine National Bank, will explain the unique problems women face obtaining and maintaining credit and will answer questions on the topic.

In 1983 the committee chose Keith Maund of Court House, who is attending Atlantic Community College. Last spring. Stuart Conover of Rio Grande was the recipient. He is attending Rutgers University. The fire company

Real Estate Meeting Set COURT HOUSE - Middie Township committee will hold a special meeting on Nov. 25 at 10:30 a.m for a resolution authorizing the sale of real estate.
