The Sea Lions Christmas Brunch at the Whitebrier. Sunday, will find some of the island's prettiest doing informal modeling during the meal. There will be no admission charge for the adjacent boutique, so one may nip in and out at will. BIG APPLE move over! Island merchants and the American Red Cross are readying a blast for the holidays. An American Christmas is the title and five main events are planned. Kickoff will be a Victorian Fashion Show Dec. 12 at noon at the Golden Inn, put on by Charlotte Todd and her models displaying antique uniforms, ball gowns, bathing suits, etc. Tickets may be gotten at Once Upon a Time book shop and Seashore Home Supply. Dec. 13 another fashion show with a vast difference. At Snickers 5-7, ladies will be helping guys select gifts for their gals. First assist will be two free libations at the open bar. followed by dinner from the menu if desired. ALL CLOTHING stores will be sending their best so we know where to steer our beaux that night, right? niture store in Avalon. He is also donating a handsome chair to be raffled with benefits accruing to the Red Cross. Friday, Dec. 20, is the biggest blowout of them all. There will be an honest to Pete Christmas Ball for 150 persons at Snickers. They're going all out on this one. A discriminating committee has selected the five-course menu. Bunch Hammond is being imported from The Saloon in Philadelphia with his orchestra to supply the music and one guest will receive a Pave diamond ring as a door prize. NUMBERS WILL be drawn during dinner and the winning number could be under the wine glass at your place at the table! Freeholders Bill Sturm and Ralph Evans will be honored guests. Forty-nine Stone Harbor Seniors journeyed to Caremes for lunch Nov. 20. In case you haven't heard of it, Caremes is the gourmet restaurant run by Atlantic Community College at Mays Landing. All food is prepared and served by students in the institution's Culinary Arts School. Menu is extensive and food exquisite. CAVEAT: Don't pig out on the entrees here, the dessert cart will drive you crazy! Hint: Drinks are prepared by a pro. Best martinis on the East Coast except for Sea View Country Club, where he also works, are built by Mike; he rubs lemon peel on the rim of the glass. Civic Club On Inn Tour

STONE HARBOR - The Women's Civic Club will go on the Cape May Inns at Christmas Time Tour Wednesday. Dec. 11. Members will carpool it from St. Mary's Church. 95th and Third Avenue, Stone Harbor. leaving at 4:30 p.m.
