Heritage Teachers At Meet

NORTH CAPE MAY - The teachers of Heritage Christian Academy attended the 37th Annual MidAtlantic Christian Schools Association Teachers' Convention in Lancaster, PA, Nov. 7 and 8. The more than 2,300 delegates represented over 175 Christian schools from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, New England, North Carolina and West Virginia. A TOTAL OF 207 workshops were offered to elementary and secondary personnel on the subjects of

Art, Bible, Discipline. Counseling, Language Arts, Music, History. Mathematics, Secretarial Skills, Business Education. Physical Education. Science and others. The speakers were professors of Bible Colleges, administrators of Christian schools and fellow teachers. There were 72 exhibits representing Christian colleges. textbook publishers and suppliers of school materials. Gospel films, bookstores, and fundraisers. The M.A.C.S.A.

'The Pilgrim Character'

GREEN CREEK - Pastor Joseph Muggleworth will preach Sunday on the theme " The Pilgrim Character of the Church" at the 11 a.m. worship service of the Green Creek Community Church, Delsea Drive. Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages. A nursery is available for all services. Services For Advent At Crest WILDWOOD CREST - Sunday, Dec. 1, begins the celebration of Advent at the Crest Community Church. During Sunday School, beginning at 9:45 a.m.. students are asked to bring canned goods to place at the altar for the Missions Food Bank The Communion Meal will be served by the Rev. Charles L. Rowe during the 11 a.m. worship service. The nursery, beginners and middlers classes from the Sunday School will act as Advent Angels during the service, with singing, telling the story of Advent and lighting the first candle of the Advent Wreath. The nursery is available, and the time machine is in operation for children in pre-first through third grades during the service.
