St. Peter's Hosts 'Messiah'

OCEAN CITY - The Masterworks Chorus and 'Good Things From Bad COURT HOUSE - Sunday worship is held by Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God 1 a.m. at the Arbutus Lodge, Route 9. Pastor Richard G. Green Jr. continues his series of messages on the Book of Acts with a sermon called "Good Things from Bad Things", based on Acts: 1-8. Tabernacle Hosts Joint Service ERMA — A combined Thanksgiving service will be held this evening at Tabernacle Methodist with the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church. An annual event, the service will begin at 7:30 p.m.. with Rev. Paul vander Loo speaking. The offering from this service will be given for Ethiopia food relief The annual love loaf program will begin with the Sunday morning service at Tabernacle. Also an annual event, money collected from the love loaves will be used for Ethiopia food relief and other world hunger programs. THE JUNIOR Department has been collecting food and Shop Rite tapes for free turkeys to be distributed to area needy families. The baskets will be distributed under the supervision of Sheryl Muller, department head. Food baskets will also be sent to the Neighborhood Center in Camden, one of the poorest sections in the state. Canned food as well as clothing and gifts for the holidays will be sent. Appearance Set By Evangelist ERMA — Speaker at the Maranatha Christian Fellowship 7 :30 p.m. Friday will be Ronald Coyne, an evangelist to whom it is claimed vision has been given with or without a plastic eye.

An Advent wreath making session will be held 3 p.m. this Sunday. Refreshments will be provided. The Senior Choir will present a Christmas concert in celebration of Advent 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Dec. 8. St. Mary's Episcopal STONE HARBOR - St. Mary's Episcopal Church has celebrations of the Holy Eucharist 8 and 10 a m Sundays, with each service followed by a social hour. Nursery care is provided at 10 o'clock. Church School meets 9 : 45 a.m. in the parish hall. Students join the congregation for the Eucharist. The Episcopal Church Women meet \londays at noon. The Men's Club will hold a Christmas luncheon at the Whitebrier Inn 1 p.m. Dec. 13. For reservations, call Ed Yeager or John Basford. First Baptist In Wildtcood WUtfWOOD - Rev. Mays will preach at the 11 a m worship service on the coming First Sunday in Advent at the First Baptist Church Sunday School begins at 9:30 A.M. A nursery and a Junior Church are also provided. 'Christmas Rhapsody' Set Dec. 8 CAPE MAY - Ruth Fritsch and Mildred Spriggs, music directors at the Cape Island Baptist Church, will present their Chancel Choir singing the Cantata. Christmas Rhapsody 4 p.m Sunday. Dec 8. The Baptist Church is located at Columbia and Guerney Avenues. This cantata by Don Wyrtzen and Phil and Lynne Brower, is a musical containing both new and traditional Christmas songs.

Our Saviour Lutheran STONE HARBOR - The Rev. Robert Nagle will be the guest preacher and liturgist on the First Sunday in Advent this week at the Evangelical Luthern Church of Our Saviour. Worship is at 11 a.m. and the Lord's Supper will be celebrated.
