Bach, Handel | Recital Set MILLVILLE - A recital celebrating the Tricentennial of Bach and Handel will be presented by Estella Maria Adler and Nancy Weissenberg Harris 7 o'clock Sunday evening, Dec. 1- in the First United Methodist Church. Second and Pine Streets. Mrs. Adler will present solo organ works of Dietrich Buxtehude, whom Each greatly admired; Johann Sebastian Bach; Felix Mendelssohn, whose revival of Bach's work in 1829 brought the master to the world's attention; and Max Reger, a German composer of the 20th Centurv. MRS. HARRIS "will sing selections from Bach's Magnificat, arias from Handel's Samson and the Messiah, and arias from the Elijah by Mendelssohn. The recital is open for everyone to attend and following the program a reception will be held in the Lillian Henry room. Free and adequate parking is available.
