'Promised Prophet'

NORTH WILDWOOD - The coming second Sunday of Advent will be observed at Central Bible Church 10:45 a.m. by the pastor. Dr. Alvin Baker, preaching a message entitled "Our Lord is the Promised Prophet", based on Deuteronomy 18:15. During each week of Advent Dr. Baker will speak on an office of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, during the morning service there will be the lighting of the Advent wreath. At 7 p.m. Dr. Baker will continue his series on the Christian and the Ten Commandments. This week he is speaking on the Fifth Commandment. At 9:30 a.m. there are Sunday School classes for all ages. On Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. the church meets for Bible study and prayer.

There are nursery services for all the services of the church. Also, during the week there are home Bible studies. Central Bible Church is a Reformed Church. For further information call 522-5917.

Grace Chapel, Rio Grande RIO GRANDE - Milt Wilson, pastor of Grace Gospel Chapel. Shore Road, will speak at the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. services this Sunday. Children's Church is at 11 a.m. for boys and girls 5 to 9. and Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. Ladies' Bible Study is held 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Mrs. Wilson as teacher. Prayer meeting and youth groups are 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Auxiliaries' Yule Lunch LINWOOD - The combined auxiliaries of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission - the Missionaires and the Mission Ambassadors - will hold their Annual Christmas luncheon noon Tuesday. Dec. 10. at the Linwood Community Church. 1836 Shore Rd Members are asked to bring a covered dish, beverage and dessert will be supplied. There will be guests from the Whiting Auxiliary, special music and fun. including carol singing. 'Christmas Rhapsody' CAPE MAY - The Chancel Choir and soloists of the Cape Island Baptist Church will present a Christmas Cantata. "Christmas Rhapsody." under the direction of Ruth Fritsch and Mildred Spriggs. The musical, by Don Wyrtzen and Phil and Lynne Brower, contains both new and traditional Christmas songs. The Cape Island Baptist Church is at Columbia and Guerney Avenues. A high tea will be given after the performance and the public is cordially invited. IN. Wild wood Methodist NORTH WILDWOOD - Sunday service at the North Wildwood United Methodist Church. Second and Central Avenues, begins at 11 a m preceded by an old-fash-ioned hymn sing at 10:45 Sunday School starts at 9:30 with classes for all. Pastor Steve Herman delivers the message. Ruth Beddow is choir leader and Emma Sabins is organist.

Christian Science CAPE MAY — Services are held 11 a.m. Sunday at the Community Center. 405 Lafayette St., by the Christian Science Society of Cape May. The subject of this week's lesson will be "God the Only Cause and Creator".

First Baptist, ' Wildwood WILDWOOD - Rev Dawn N. Mays will preach at the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at First Baptist Church, Atlantic and Maple Avenues.
