Cape May Tours Slated for Month

CAPE MAY - Throughout December, the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts i MAC) is sponsoring Combination Trolley/Physick Estate Tours and Walking Tours that offer visitors an i overview of Cape May's famous Victorian architecture. .Combination Trolley/Physick Estate Tours are offered on the following schedule: Saturdays: 10-1 1 a.m. and noon. Sundays: 11 a.m. and noon. Combination Tours begin at the Emlen Physick r Estate. 1048 Washington St.. with an hour-long guided trolley tour that covers both the East End and West End Historic Districts. UPON RETURNING to I the estate, visitors are next I guided through the lavish I interior of the Physick I House. This 16-room manI sion was designed by I renowned architect Frank I Furness. Built in 1881 in the I Stick Style, it has been I painstakingly restored as a I high-quality Victorian I House Museum. Ending this combination I tour on a festive note. I visitors are served hot I cider and goodies in the I Physick House dining I room. Tickets are on sale | at the entrance to the | Physick House. No reservtions are necessary.

( Tickets for the Trolley and Physick Estate tours may also be purchased separately. > WALKING TOURS of the Historic District are offered every Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Providing an entertaining orientation, these tours are especially designed for those who like history close-up and in detail. Each Walking Tour takes about one and one-half hours and begins at the In-formations-Booth at the head of the Washington Street Mall (at Ocean Street).

Auction Set ' MARMORA - Cub Scout Pack 79 will hold its second annual Chinese auction 6 p.m. Friday at the Upper Township Elementary School here.
