TWO YEARS AGO we invited three U.S. Coast Guard Trainees from the station at Cape May to share Thanksgiving dinner with us. It was one of our nicest holidays ever. One boy was shy. one was urbane and one was about to be married and missed his gal. All were interesting. punctilious and helpful. We had a great time. We got thank -you notes from each boy and from the mothers of two. I-ast year we were hors de combat and had no guests but we did hear from one previous year's C.G.
