S CAPE MAY - The high S point of the holiday season ^ here is the 12th annual N Christmas Candlelight * House Tour, scheduled 6-10 ^ p.m. Saturday evening. 5 Dec. 28. Sponsored by the MidK Atlantic Center for the Arts j (MAC), this event features S a self-guided tour of more S than a dozen homes and ^ churches specially S decorated for the holiday S season. n MAC's heated trolley-bus will run on a continuous transit loop throughout the course of the tour. pearance on the Candlelight Tour. THE GRAND finale to Cape May's third annual Gingerbread House contest. These charming edible edifices, which sport decorations as elaborate as Cape May's own architectural gingerbread, are on display for several weeks preceding the tour at the Cape May County Art League (in the Carriage House of the Physick Estate). The night of the Candlelight Tour, ticketholders have the honor of selecting the winning en-, tries, with the results to be announced at the tour's conclusion. CHRISTMAS MUSIC by the Williamsport singers. This noted 22-member chorus, from Williamsport, PA. will present a formal concert of Christmas favorites 3 p.m. the afternoon of the tour at the Cape Island Baptist Church (Columbia Avenue and Gurney Street ) . That evening, during the Candlelight Tour, the Williamsport Singers will roam the town, singing carols for Tour-goers at each house. Advance tickets for the Christmas Candlelight House Tour are available through Dec. 27. They may City Offers 2 Dancing Courses CAPE MAY - The city will offer Ballroom Dancing and Line Dancing as part of its 1986 winter recreation schedule. Ballroom Dancing will be a five-week course offered for all couples in the county. All the classic ballroom steps including the foxtrot, waltz, cha-cha. rhumba. jitterbug and polka will be offered. The class will be held each Wednesday 7-9 p.m.. beginning Jan 8 Line Dancing is a sevenweek course open to couples and singles that will teach the Continental. Alley Cat. Leroy Brown and other solo dances. It will take place 1-2 p.m. ' Mondays beginning Jan. 6. Both the Ballroom and Line Dancing classes are held at the Franklin Street Civic Center with Dot Burns teaching both courses.
