Wetlands Astronomy Class Set STONE HARBOR - With the coming of Halley's Comet, many people will be looking to the skies, inquisitive about what they see. The Wetlands Institute will present an astronomy class in January for the amateur star gazer. Dave Ward of Avalon will present basic studies of the solar system with telescope observations, lectures, and hopefully, a sighting of Halley's comet. The class, which will meet 7 :30 to 9:30 p.m., is limited in size, and reservations must be made by Jan. 2. WARD PRESENTED an astronomy class at the institute several years ago, as well as several talks on birds. He has also acted as a guide for marsh walks, beach safaris, and other local birding expeditions. For further information, fees, and to make reservations, call 368-1211.
