Middle Lighting Contest COURT HOUSE - The Middle Township Recreation Department is sponsoring a home lighting contest for township residents during the Christmas season. In past years, many township residents decorated their homes for the Yule Season, this year, the Recreation Department is inviting everyone to join the contest. Trophies will be given to home owners in the following categories; spirit of Christmas award, most traditional, most creative, children's choice award and best overall. Judging will be done by members of the Recreation Commission between Friday and Sunday, Dec. 20 and 22. To enter the contest, residents should call Gregg Arnold at the Recreation Office daily at 465-3520. Trip Slated To Theater COURT HOUSE - The Bayberry Twig Auxiliary of the Burdette-Tomlin Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a bus trip to see the musical La Cage aux Folles, with Peter Marshall. at the Forrest Theater in Philadelphia Wednesday, Feb. 5. The bus will leave Jamesway parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and return immediately after the show. There will be a stop at the Gallery with time for lunch and shopping. If interested, call 967-4736 or 368-3271. Graduate COURT HOUSE - Tracy Lee Burnley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Burnley of this community, received her B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University, West Chester. Pa., at commencement exercises Saturday, Dec. 14.

Pre-school Activities

CAPE MAY - The city's Pre-School Activity Hour will be expanded to five days a week starting in the winter recreation schedule. The class will be en exercise and activity course for children. Each class will follow a central theme with activities which will include games and arts and crafts. The class will be held Mon- j day through Friday 9:45 - 11 a.m. at the Franklin Street Civic Center beginning Jan. 6. It is open to all pre-schoolers aged 2 to 5 in j Cape May County.
