Air Force Band Slated SEA ISLE CITY - The United States Air Force Bank of the East will perform in Sea Isle during August, 1986, according to City Commissioner William VanArtsdalen. The Air Force Bank, numbering more than 40 musicians, last performed in the resort during the city's centennial celebration. and drew extremely large crowds. This is the first confirmed summer concert of the 1986 summer season and promises to be one of the many highlights of the 1986 summer season in Sea Isle Citv. THE FREE PUBLIC concert was announced at the city commissioners' meeting, and was the culmination of much work by the city's public relations director. Dick Alliger, and Commissioner VanArtsdalen. "The summer of 1986 is going to be a memorable one", Commissioner VanArtsdalen stated. "Plans are being made for some outstanding concerts and public events, including the A1 Alberts TV Showcase, a summer-long talent show, string band concei ts and much more to be announced. The Air Force Band free concert will just add to the icing on the cake." Commissioner VanArtsdalen said. suxm#? Sea Isle City Tree Lighting SEA ISLE CITY - The city will hold a Christmas celebration 7 p.m. Sunday, including a tree lighting ceremony on JFK Boulevard preceded by carols. The tree lighting will be followed by refreshments and a local talent show at the city school. The event is sponsored by the city recreation department.
