Ensemble De Noel Concert

CAPE MAY - The choral group Ensemble de Noel will present a concert of sacred and secular Cape Fellowship BURLEIGH - The Cape Christian Fellowship holds services 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Jersey Cape Dance Center, a quarter-mile north of the Burleigh light on Route 9. Christmas music 3 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist Church Hall, Gurney Street at Columbia Avenue. The 16 members of Ensemble de Noel hail from Middleburg, Pa. Founded in 1979, this group is as noted for its colorful Victorian costumes as it is for its sprightly musical arrangements.

The concert will be a benefit performance for next summer's MidAtlantic Stage program. Robert D. Stock, who founded and directs Ensemble de Noel, will serve as the set and > lighting designer for the upcoming theater season. The event is sponsored by I the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts.

'Wisdom, Stature' BURLEIGH - Pastor Lee Cattell of Faith Fellowship Chapel will have as the title of his 11 a.m. Sunday sermon, "Wisdom, Stature and Favor", from Luke 2:41-52. At 7 p.m. he will preach on "Marks of a False Teacher" from II Peter 2. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., New Year's Eve Service will be held, and Friday, 7 p.m. Youth Clubs meet. The chapel is at Rte. 9 and Oyster Road.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a local resident for 23 years. Francis E. Ditzler Sr., 77, of Avalon, Dec. 17. A retired state assistant purchasing agent, he was a former superintendent of weights and measures in Cape May County. He worked for the Cape May County Bridge Commission and served as a dispatcher for the Avalon Police Dept.
