Covenant Schedules Christmas Service
FISHING CREEK - The annual Christmas morning service of Covenant Bible Church. Fishing Creek Koad near Bayshore Road, will be held 10-11 a.m. The service will consist of Scripture reading, prayer p and testimonies. The community is invited to praise God for the gift of His Son Ample parking is provided. 'Why Would God Choose?" COURT HOUSE - Morning worship is held at 10 o'clock Sunday at the Arbutus Lodge, one-quarter mile north of Super Fresh on Route 9. Pastor Richard G. Green Jr.'s sermon for this last Sunday of 1985 is called "Why Would God Choose You?"' and is based on Acts 9:1-9. A nursery and a Junior Church pro gram for children through third grade are provided. At 7 p.m. a Prayer and Praise service is held at the church parsonage. 1563 Route 9. three miles north of Court House and just two doors south of Radio Station WWOC. Tuesday. Dec. 31. at 8 p.m. a New Year's Eve Party will be held at the church parsonage in Swainton. The service will be followed by a Communion service at 11:15 p.m.. which will end at midnight. I Mrs Mary Billings of I Villas. Mrs. Billings, who began her duties in late November, replaces Mrs. Christine vanderLoo. who held the post for a year and a half 4nd who resigned for personal reasons. Mrs. Billings has had long experience as a school secretary in public schools. She is originally from Old Bridge, but most recently hails from Titusville, FL., where she and her husband. William, had been living following his retirement from industrial construction work. SHE HAS HOSTED Good News Bible Clubs in her home for many years, and has taught Sunday School at all age levels She is especially excited about the close, one-on-one contacts she has with the children at SJCA. Goslin. now a resident of Wildwood Crest, will speak on "Christ and Time". A social period will take place following the service and at 11:40 a.m. a talkback session will be held with Rev.
