St. Mary's Winter Schedule
STONE HARBOR - With the winter schedule going into effect Sunday, the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated 10 a.m. Sundays. A coffee and fellowship hour follows the service, and a nursery is available. The Church School meets at 9:45 Sunday mornings in the Parish Hall. Green Creek Service Set GREEN CREEK - Pastor Joseph Muggleworth will preach at the 11 a.m. worship service of the Green Community Church. Delsea Drive, on the theme 'The Believer and Philosophy " This is part of his continuseries on "The Believer and Contemporary Issues." Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m., with classes for all ages. A nursery is available for all services. Prayer Meeting convenes on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 8 p.m., following choir rehearsal. •The "Needle People" meet at 10 a.m. each week for quilting, craft, and Bible study. The next men's Prayer Breakfast will be held on Saturday. Jan. 18 at 7:30 a.m. The men are invited to bring their wives to this first breakfast of the new year. Cold Spring Pulpit Guest - COLD SPRING - The Cold Spring Presbyterian Church will have the Rev Donald Bitzer as guest minister this Sunday. The 11 a.m. worship service is preceded by Sunday School in Price Hall at 9:30 and an adult class in the church at 9:45. There is a ramp for the handicapped at the back of the church. The organ prelude begins at 10:45 a.m. Grace Gospel, Rio Grande RIO GRANDE - Mill Wilson, pastor of Grace Gospel Chapel. Rio Grande, will speak at both the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.. services this Sunday Children's Church is at 11 a.m. for boys and girls ages 5 to 9. Sunday School is at 9:45 a m with classes for all ages The Indies' Bible Study will resume on Wednesday at H) a m with Mrs Wilson as teacher Prayer meeting and youth groups are on Wednesday at 7 p.m. TV. Wildwood Methodist NORTH WILDWOOD - Sunday service at the North Wildwood United Methodist Church. Second and Central Avenues, aegins at 11 a.m. preceded by an old-fashioned hymn sing at 10:45. Sunday School starts at 9:30. Pastor Steve Herman delivers the worship message. Ruth Beddow is choir leader and Emma Sabins is organist.
A mid-week celebration of the Eucharist is held 7 : 30 p.m. Wednesday in the church. THE PASTOR. Rev. Wesley Martin, was recently honored by the congregation on the 15th anniversary of his entrance into the priesthood. The congregation will begin using new hymnals, the first change in hymnals for the church since 1940. "Practice Bridge", sponsored by the Civic Club, will resume sessions in the Parish Hall 10 a.m. Thursdays. Both men and women are invited. First Baptist Service Set COURT HOUSE - Sunday Worship service take place at 9:30 a m at the First Baptist Church at 101 t South Main Street here. Rev. Jerry Helinga will lead the worship service with a message taken from Genesis 37. "Facing Turbulent Times: A Study of the Life of Joseph." 'Gifts and Guarantees ' CAPE MAY - "Gifts and Guarantees" will be the sermon topic of the Rev. Cass Shaw, pastor, at the Sunday morning service of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May on January 5 at 10:30 a.m. Holy Communion will be observed. Sunday School also will be held at 10:30 and adult seminars will take place at 9:30. Following the service a social period will be held, and at 11 :40 a taikback session to discuss the sermon with the pastor will take place.
