COURT HOUSE - Five artists, including three Cape May County residents, have been chosen for commissions for works at the Long Term Care Facility at Crest Haven, j Locan artists named by the Cultural and Heritage Commission are: Gerald > Lynch. Villas sculptor. I Mrs. Barbara Knipple. I painter, and Bruce Hippel, stained glass artist. "both of I Cape May. Other artists I commissioned are Glenn I Rudderbow, Cedarville I painter, and William Bell, I lebanon painter. THESE ARTISTS were chosen from a field of 32 applicants. They will be creating a piece of

sculpture, stained/ glass windows, paintings, and murals for the new facility. The art pieces were selected and will be developed in cooperation with the architect. James MacDonald of Wildwood, and will be built into the project. Locations for the art works are: Lobby/ G. Lynch, sculture (to be determined) $15,00(7; G. Rudderow, two paintings at $2,000 each

'Job-Trans' Open To Jobless Youth

RIO GRANDE - "JobTrans," a new life skills training program for economically disadvantaged youth ages 16 through 21 is being sponsored by Cape Human Resources, Inc. It is funded by a grant through Cape May County Job Training and Partnership Act (JTPA), Exemplary Youth Programs (Title IIA ) school-to-work transition assistance program.

JOB-TRANS WILL train participants to find and retain a job, fill out job applications, write resumes, and conduct and evaluate practice job interviews. In addition participants will receive job placement assistance and job follow-up. FROM 1974 to 1983, Cape Human Resources. Inc. under CETA Programs provided Job Training and Placement Programs including Adkins Life Skills. Work Experience. On-The-Job Training. Women-In-Touch, Skills Training, Classroom Training, and Placement. Job-Trans Life Skills Pro-v gram will be offered in two separate 12-week training cycles at Cape Human Resources, Inc.'s Whitesboro. Wildwood. and Woodbine Divisions beginning in early January.
