Sewerage Election? Jan. 26 in Middle
COURT HOUSE - The Middle Township Sewage Commission will hold an election Sunday, Jan. 26. to select two commissioners to serve Sewerage District rio. l. Ferry Changes Announced CAPE MAY - The Cape Mlay-Lewes Ferry announced two changes in its w jnter schedule effective Jan. 1. The 6:30 departure from Cipe May was changed to 7 p.m.. and the 8:30 departure from Lewes was changed to 8:40 p.m. Four departures from Ckpe May and four from L;wes occur seven days a week. From Cape May. the times are: 7:30 a.m.. 11 a.m.. 3 p.m. and 7 p.m." From Lewes, the times are: 9:30 a.m.. 1 p.m.. 5 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. The ferry takes 70 minutes to cross the Delaware Bay. Wildwood High Orientation Meet
WILDWOOD - The Wildwood High School Guidance Department has announced plans for its evening orientation program for the students and parents of the Class of 1990. The program will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, in the High School library. This year's program is extremely important. Many of the requirements and courses for the incoming freshmen have been evaluated and revised by the high school's curriculum committee. An overview of the curriculum will be given by Wayne C. Newell, director of guidance, and a thorough explanation of all changes will be given by each
department chairperson and members of the administration. AN EXPLANATION of < the implications of the new High School Proficiency Test wilj also be presented. Curriculum booklets will be made available to all in attendance. Individual parent/student conferences for the purpose, of scheduling will be conducted beginning Jan. 14 The sessions will be provided by the Wildwood High* School Guidance Staff at the respective elementary schools. Any questions concerning registration for Wildwood High School should be directed to the Guidance Department at 522-6955.
