Comet Program Is Mon. PETERSBURG - Dr. John Herrmann, will be the guest speaker at a Halley's Comet program in the public meeting room at the Upper Cape Library. Route 631, Monday at 7 p.m. This is the initial lecture sponsored by Friends of the .Library. The public is invited. There is no admission charge. Herrmann, chairman of the science department at Ocean City High School, has been the recipient of several "distinguished teacher" awards. He teaches computer science at Glassboro State College and physics at the Atlantic Community College. He will present information concerning the famous Halley's Comet, how to view it, and tips for photographing it with a 35-mm camera Those, who viewed the farhous Comet in 1910 will be encouraged to share those recollections. People attending the program are advised to bring binoculars. They may expect to be entertained and informed. In case of inclement weather, the Monday evening prgram will be rescheduled for Wednesday night 7 p.m. | AARP Meet CAPE MAY - Victorian I Chapter 691, American AsI sociation of Retired PerI sons, will hold its first J meeting of 1986 at the VicJ torian Towers Jan. 8.
