Line Dance , Ballroom Classes Set

CAPE MAY - Ballroom Dancing and Line Dancing will be offered as part of the i«K6 winter recreation schedule. Ballroom Dancing will Ik* a five-week course for all couples in Cape May County. fMi of the classic ballroom steps including the foxtrot, waltz, cha-cha. rhumba. jitterbug and polka will be in-

cluded. The class will take place 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays beginning today. Line Dancing is a sevenweek course open to couples and singles that will teach the Continental. Alley Cat. Leroy Brown and other solo dances. It will take place 1-2 p.m. Mondays. Both classes are held at

the Franklin Street Civic Center with Dot Burns teaching both courses. Those interested are urged to call the Civic Affairs Departmental 884-8411, ext 20 or 27. or register at the office in Convention Hall 8:30 a.m. to 4 :30p.m. weekdays.

Adult Class In Ballet, CAPE MAY -The city is offering a dance class. Ballet For Adults, as part of the winter recreation schedule. This class offers movement and music through a classic art form which will combine complete body toning with a study of basic and intermediate elements of ballet. The program will be taught by Elizabeth Scattergood, who studied ballet in New York City with Mme. Chamee of the original Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo and more recently at the Ballet Studio in Philadelphia taught by former members of the Pennsylvania Ballet. The class will be held at the Franklin Street Civic Center 8-9 p.m. Thursday.
