Grant Buys Computers For LOIR ERMA — The Business Education Department of Lower Cape May Regional High School recently received a grant for $9,505 from the State of New Jersey, Department of Education. Division of Vocational Education, to modify its Business Principles and Management course. Ms. Kathleen Parker, in- 1 structor of the course, and Ms. Linda Gruchowski, supervisor of the Business Education Department, were successful in writing a proposal and having it funded. WITH THE FENDS available they have purchased seven microcomputers. three printers, software and furniture to implement Microcomputer Simulations in Business. In that the county's major industry is tourism, it was evident that the businesses in the area (hotels, motels, restaurants, campgrounds, and retailing establishments) now utilize microcomputers in their everyday transactions to handle information processing. By receiving hands-on experience in the operation of the microcomputer LCMR students wilh,acquire invaluable skilnPfor entry-level employment. EMT Course Scheduled COURT HOUSE -Acertified Emergency Medical Technician basic course sponsored by Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital will be held at Middle Township High School here.
