Communion At Crest
WILDWOOD CREST - Sunday is Communion Sunday at the Crest Community Church. Services begin at 9:45 A.M. with Sunday School. On the first Sunday of every month, students bring non-perishable food items to place at the altar during devotions. The goods are used in the church food bank. Worship service with the Rev. choir, under the direction of Bette VanDyke, organist, will present the anthem, and the children's choir will perform "He's Got the World in His Hands". A. NURSERY is available and the "Time Machine" is in operation during the worship service with lessons, crafts and videos for children in pre-first through third grade.
'Forgiving Savior' BURLEIGH - Pastor Lee Cattell of Faith Fellowship Chapel continues at 11 a.m. Sunday in his series from Luke with a sermon on "The Forgiving Savior", based on Luke 5:12-39. At 7 p.m. his sermon will be "Love Not the World." from I John 2:2-17. Sunday School is held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. 6:30 a.m.. Men's Prayer Breakfast is held Wednesday. 7 p.m.. family prayer meeting. The adult forum will begin its study of the New Lutheran Church in preparation for the upcoming merger. The worship begins at 10: 15 a.m. with the celebration of Holy Eucharist and a festival of lights. Fellowship hour follows the service.
