Macatee Is Head Of Medical Staff
COURT HOUSE - Lawrence J. Macatee, M.D., was recently elected president of the Burdette Tomlin Hospital medical staff. Chief of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Macatee has served as medical staff vice president for the past two years. He has also had experience serving on the credentials, bylaws, joint advisory, and executive committees of the hospital. Board certified in his specialty, Dr. Macatee is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. He served his internship at Misericordia Hospital in Philadelpia. His residency was served at Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia, where he later joined the staff. He was also a member of the staff at St. Agnes Hospi*. 1 in Philadelphia. DR. MACATEE served as a clinical instructor in obstetrics and gynecology, associated with Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, for 10 years. Management training is another educational interest. He has completed the training seminar of Telemetries International, a world-wide consultant in behavioral sciences as applied to management. i
Dr. Macatee is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Fertility Society ; American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists; American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine; and Private Doctors of America. HE SERVED as secretary of the South Branch of the Philadelphia County Medical Society. Since moving here in 1975, he has served two years as president of the Cape May i County Medical Society. He is a voting delegate to the New Jersey Medical Society and has served on the ; Cape May County Council ; of Health Services Administration. Serving with Dr. Macatee on the BTMH Executive are Warren MacDonald, M.D., vice president, and Richard Renza, : D.O., secretary/treasurer.

Courtesy Center RID GRANDE - A grand opening celebration at its new customer Courtesy Center in the Village Shoppes of Rio Grande shopping center here was held by Atlantic Electric Friday, Jan. 24. An Energy Team representative was on hand to answer questions about energy efficiency, and microwave cooking demonstrations were given. The Courtesy Center, which was opened for business Dec. 30, provides budget billing programs, energy efficiency tips, service arrangements, and accepts regular and overdue bill payments. It is also to be a place to discuss and resolve billing or credit problems. i
