TRENTON — Legislation sponsored by Assemblyman Guy F. Muziani that would appropriate $1 million to shore resort communities to hire special police during the tourist season has been approved by the Assemblyman Municipal Government Committee. 'This measure is intended to address the law enforcement problems of communities that experience drastic population increases during the tourist season," said Muziani. R-Cumberland! Cape May The bill. A-465. would provide assistance to qualifying seaside communities to hire a number of special policemen for the 16-week vacation period stretching from May to September. COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women will be publishing a directory listing all the women's services and organizations throughout Cape May County. Anyone who belongs to or knows of a women's group that would like to be included In this directory, is asked to contact Commissioner Vice-Chair Barbara Chojnacki (390-3061) or Commissioner Corresponding Secretary Cherri Olsen (886-3529) before March 27. Publication is expected by June.
