Therapy For Outpatients
OCEAN VIEW - People recovering from auto, work-related, or sports injuries, individuals coming back from a stroke or recuperating from a hip replacement — all share a need for physical therapy . Until recently, if they lived in Upper Township, most would have to travel to Court House or Somers Point for regular treatments. Now, thanks to a combined community outreach by
Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and the Lutheran Home in Ocean View, rehabilitation services are being offered closer to home. THE OUTPATIENT , physical therapy to be offered at the home; located on Route 9, will be provided by licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants supplied by the hospital. Sessions at the Ocean View site will be offered three times a week
