The Middle Township Youth Football organization elected officers for 1986 at its meeting Jan. 21. Herb Mossbrooks. Court House, was elected president; Ramos Phillips, Court House,' first vicepresident; Lucille DeSimone. Rio Grande, second vice-president; Sandy Lochten. Burleigh, secretary; and Keith Maund. He is a guidance counselor at Middle Township High School and the school's junior varsity baseball coach in addition to being the vice president of the Middle Township Ambulance Corps. January 23 was Model Meeting Night at the Court House Kiwanis Club as LeeAnn Mcllvaine, district lieutenant governor of Key Club, along with newly appointed MTHS Key Club President Tracy Williams, conducted the meeting. Rob Dean. New Jersey district Key Club treasurer, the first of two guest speakers, traced the history of the Key Club since its founding in 1925. Ed Webb, a trustee of Key Club International, second guest speaker, said that the total membership in Key Club was 5,000 ahead of last year. The 120.000 Key Club students throughout the world have provided five million hours of service during the past year. LIRETTA DRAMIS of Court House, with two of her daughters, Nancy and Dana, took a vacation trip to freland Jan. 8-13 They visited Shannon and Dublin during their trip. Accompanying them

The dinner honored Key Club Governor' Mark Deneka. The guest speaker was Kiwanian Governor John Lucca. Also in attendance were MTHS Key Club advisor Sam Brewer and co-advisor Charlie Cantz. THE CHILDREN in Elizabeth Evans' first grade class at Elementary School recently learned '"first hand" about the duties of an elementary
school principal and vice principal. Principal Charlotte Harmon and Vice Principal Bob Metz explained their professional jobs as well as what they have to do outside the school. A N A D H O C mathematics committee has been convening under the leadership of F!dith Ludlam. compensatoryeducation supervisor, for the purpose of aligning Middle Township's math curriculum with High School Proficiency Test requirements. The group is composed of administrators Dr Ted Johnson, superintendent, and Anthony Ferrante, assistant superintendent. Teachers in the group are Christine Collett. Elementary School 1; Linda Jones. Elementary School 3; Patricia Blood. Middle School; and ./ Christine Bailey. MTHS. Skills will be identified*^/ and matched with specific grade levels A final step entails analysis to insure enough student instructional exposure prior to taking the test in the spring of their freshman year.
