I RECEIVED a call from Sylvia Coleman, president of the Cape May American Legion Auxiliary, saying they are planning a casino bus trip to the Claridge March 4 to benefit the Special Olympics scheduled at the County Park in April. Star of the Sea Thrift Shop in Cape May has many volunteers, the latest being Roxann Rothwel! of Cape May Point, daughter of John and Mary Rothwell. Roxann attends Cape May Elementary School, where she's in the fifth grade. She and her friend Heather Gryning, who is responsible for bringing Roxann to the shop, do a

remarkably net job of rearranging books and magazines to look decorative — and in the meantime have lots of fun trying on high-heeled shoes and other fancy articles. Their "reward" is to take home something they've been waiting.

Cape May Housing Authority Commissioners' Meeting is Tuesday. Feb. 18, instead of Monday for this month due to Washington's Birthday. HAPPIEST Birthday to Sister Rosemary Cicchitti, niece of Mary Cicchitti of Victorian Towers and an

Immaculate Heart Missionary who is just returning from Rome. Of course, she's special because she's my first cousin and we go way. back together I was the "big cousin" — carrying her in my arms because she was a cry baby. I'm sure this will bring back memories.
