Museum Seeking Nautical Exhibits

COLD SPRING - Items related to the water-related history of Cape May County are being sought for the county's new museum at Historic Cold Spring Village. The museum will have a nautical, fishing, and outdoor theme. Exhibits depicting sports and commercial fishing, whaling, boat building, decoy carving. waterfowl hunting, and other water-based activities are wanted, according to Freeholder Herbert C. Frederick, who directs operations of the village. ANYONE having material to donate or place in the museum on loan is asked to call the village of-

It will be placed at a new entrance to Cold Spring Village, making it accessible from Old Shore Road and Route 9. Plans call for the museum to be opened in May.

Montreal, Kiwanis On Top CAPE MAY - In Youth Basketball action, the Montreal Inn moved into sole possession of first place of the Senior Division by defeating the Washington Inn 57-53. Montreal Inn was led by Clint Freeman, who had a game-high 31 points, and Mike Zwerawski. with 14. Washington Inn was led by Matt McGaffney with 23 points and Mark Brooks with 12. MODEL CLEANERS defeated Casale's Shoes 48-31 behind a strong 23-point effort from Tommy Reid. Tommy Johnson led Casale's with 14 points. In Junior Division play, the Kiwanis Club stayed undefeated as by beating Roth's Real Estate 24-6, led by A.J. BriMt with 12 points. Roth's got 4 points from Jera Tatum.
