SIC Tells Winners In Fishing Tourney
SEA ISLE CITY - Four . local residents were among i the just-announced winners in the 1985 Greater Sea Isle ' City Fishing Tournament. | Prizes were awarded to the top three anglers in each ! category. < Local winners were: | William Beatty, second | in Kingfish category with a \
catch weighing 1 pound, 1 ounce. H. Browssard, second for i Tautog (Blackfish). 10 pounds, 2 ounces. | WILLIAM DEVER. first, I Striped Bass. 41 pounds. 8 « ounces. Brian Larsen, 4, earned as youngest fisherby hooking a 12-pound, 10-ounce Blue Fish.

Eckel's Takes Over First in Rec Loop
CAPE MAY - In the battle of first place teams in Men's Recreation Volleyball Eckel's Diesel took sole possession as it defeated McDevitt and Matagiese in two of three games 11-15, 16-14 and 15-8. Bob Hughes, Dave Barikian and Dave Matagiese led McDevitt and Matagiese in the first game. Eckel's came through in the final two games, led by Marty Holmes, Chuck Howard and Mike Moore. IN OTHER games. National Associates swept past Cape May Mobile Estates 15-13, 15-7 and 15-2. The overall play of Norm LaBounty was the key for National. Mayer's Tavern, after losing the first game 15-13 to Pete's Racquet Club, bounced back to win the final two
games 15-11 and 15-8, led by Scott Swain and Dave Zimmerman. Carlo6 O'Brien's stayed in playoff contention by sweeping Burke Builders 15-8, 15-2 and 15-1 with John Thomas and Mark Rucci as standouts. Signups Set For Soccer VILLAS — There will be signups for soccer for the residents of Lower Township February 15, 1986, starting at 12 noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, at the Recreation Center on Bayshore Road. Boys and girls who will be 5 before March 31 and not 14 before July 1 are eligible to play. All participants must present proof of age before playing. Those who played last year must sign up again this year.
