MUA Job Awarded OC Firm OCEAN CITY - A minor ity-owned local firm has received the largest single sub-contract award of 54.3 million in a $42 million construction project of the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority. The award went to Sylvester Thompson and Sons Contract awards were based on lowest bids. SINCE A state-sponsored conference last October which set goals for minority participation in the project an 11.1 percent minority business pariticipation and 2 percent women-owned business participation have been achieved.
