Menz Head Of Statue Fund Drive RIO GRANDE - Franklin Menz, owner of Menz Restaurant here, was recently named honorary membership chairman of the Cape May County Fisherman's Memorial, Inc. Menz has given the $160,000 memorial to fishermen lost at sea. his full-time interest. People coming into his restaurant are urged to contribute to the memorial and the replica of the statue is now surrounded by donations. Membership in the memorial is $10. Donations can be made to Box 997 Ocean Drive, Cape May, N.J. 08204 or given to Menz. Names and addresses should accompany the money so that a membership card can be mailed out.
Card Party COURT HOUSE - Thurston Elmer Wood Post 198, American Legion, will sponsor a card party noon Monday, Feb. 17, at the post home, Dias Creek and Hand Avenue. CARA Giving 2 Programs COURT HOUSE - The Coalition Against Rape and Abuse (CARA) will present programs to two county organizations tomorrow. The film "Victor or Victim" will be shown and a given by Dot community educator, 1 p.m. to the Sea Isle City chapter of the American Association for Retired Persons, at the Community Center. j *•" CARA is also making a domestic violence presentation 6:30 p.m. to the township Rotary Club at the Anchorage Inn.
