Muller New m Police Panel President COURT HOUSE - Captain Phillip Muller of the Sea Isle City Police Department has been elected president of the Cape May County Police Training Committee for 1986. Serving with him are: Lt. Gary Sloan, North Wildwood, vice president; Chief William B. Matthews Sr.. Prosecutor's Office, secretary. Retired Chief George Seaman. Middle Township, treasurer, and Sergt. Louis Raniszewski, Wildwood, alternate. The committee is an arm of the County Chiefs of Police Association and/ handles all police training in the county. Matthews is also on the Special Officers Committee for the state chiefs' association.

PO Webber Joins NavyExercises OCEAN VIEW - Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Grover S. Webber, son of Graver R and Sara M Webber of 6 Prosit Lane, recently returned from a four and one-half month deployment to the Pacific Ocean. While stationed aboard the amphibious cargo ship USS Durham, homeported in San Diego, Webber participated in two major exercises-Valiant Usher and Fortress Blitz, in Australia and the Philippines. Port visits were made in Geraldton. Austrailia. Penang. Malaysia; Singapore; Hong Kong. Subic Bay. Republic of the Philippines, and Pearl Harbor. HI A 1981 graduate of Ocean City High School. Webber joined the Navy in December. 1981 Ends His Basic COURT HOUSE - Army National Guard Private Jeffrey L. Rhile, son of Barbara Rhile of 78 Springers Mill Road, this community. and Joe Rhile of North Wildwood has completed basic training at Fort Dix. Wesley UMC Birthday Tea SWAINTON - The annual birthday tea sponsored by the members of the John Wesley United Methodist Church will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The choir of the Macedonia United Methodist Church of Ocean City, under the direction of Mrs. Rozelia Cobb, will provide music for the occasion.
