World Day Of Prayer

40-Hour Devotion

CAPE MAY - The annual "Forty Hours" devotion will take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea Sunday. Monday and Tuesday. This devotion is a time for prayer before Christ, present in the Eucharist, and a time of thanksgiving and spiritual renewal. THE OPENING Mass and procession will take place 11 a.m. Sunday. Exposition will resume Monday after the 7 a.m. Mass. There will be a Mass at 11 a.m. and Exposition will continue during the day. 1st Baptist * Wildwood WILDWOOD - Rev Dawn N. Mays will preach at the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at the First Baptist Church. Atlantic and Maple Avenues. Sunday supper will be hosted by the men of the Church 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Recollection Day Slated OCEAN CITY - The annual Day of Recollection sponsored by the Altar and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church will be held beginning 10:30 a.m. Sunday. March 9. in the church hall. Guest speaker will be Rev. Thomas Legere, who is a columnist for the Catholic Star Herald. A lunch will be served. For tickets, call Peg Baumgarden. 399-3774.
