A Showcase For Talent
OCEAN CITY -The Spring 1986 South Jersey Talent America Showcase will be held at the Music Craft Show CAPE MAY - Crafts at Tulip Time, featuring 70 craftsmen from the East Coast, will be presented at Congress Hall, on Congress Place, 10 a.m. -5 p.m. Saturday, April 26. The show, managed by Don and Joyce Coffman of Lebanon, will benefit the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts.
Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk, Sunday, April 13. Winners in the area finals will go on to the National Talent American Showcase in New York city in August. Rosalie Spora of Margate is state director. Talent categories, including all ages, are: dance, music, drama, vocal, modeling, musical comedy, and others. AVALON - The Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse and Home Health Agency Auxiliary will sponsor a brunch and fashion show 11 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Sunday. March 16, at the Whitebrier Inn here. Proceeds will benefit the Swainton agency.

Student All-Star Concert ocean CITY -Shifted musicians from four nigh schools will join in a cert 8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at the Ocean City High School auditorium. Students from Atlantic City, Lower Cape May Regional. Ocean City, and Wildwood High School make up a concert band and concert jazz ensemble for the performance. SELECTIONS by the concert band will include "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring"; a Leroy Anderson portrait a Sousa medley, a Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture." The jazz ensemble will present compositions by Frank Mantooth, Lennie Niehaus, Sammy Kahn, and Moe Kauffman. Leaders of the participating bands are Joe Brown, Tom Gicas, Edward Jurewicz and Warren Miller.
