Distribution Set For Butter

RIO GRANDE - Cape Human Resources. Inc.. the Cape May County Lead Agency for distributing federal surplus food, announces a distribution of butter and flour, March 12. 13. 14. to individuals and families who qualify. The county Welfare Board will again be cooperating in the distribution. According to Bernice H. Gordon, executive director of Cape Human Resources. Inc. and coordinator of commodity distribution, individuals and families on: Public Assistance. Food Stamps. Supplemental Security Income (SSI); General Assistance. Women, Infants, and Children (WIC); and Medicaid are automatically eligible for this distribution. ONLY ONE person per household may apply. Three pounds of butter and five pounds of flour' will be given per family (regardless of size). Other people will be eligible, if they have an annual income of up to $9,713 for a single and $13,043 for a couple. N. Wildwood Gets 1st Policewoman

NORTH WILDWOOD - Mayor Lewis G. Vinci has this week appointed the first woman ever as a front-line police officer here. Vinci said Vicki Stichter will officially begin duty March 10. Policewoman Stichter graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. The swearing-in ceremony was 11 a.m. Monday. March 3 at the city council chamber.
