FOLSOM - The board of directors of South Jersey Industries. Inc. (South Jersey Industries) declared an increase in its regular quarterly dividend to 63 cents per share on the 3.776,153 shares outstanding of common stock of the company. This dividend for the first quarter of 1986 is payable

March 31. to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 10. The previous quarterly dividend was payable at the rate of 62 cents per share The new diyidend represents the 3(Ui dividend increase, either in cash or stock, ''since dividends were declared 35 years ago.
