Traffic Up On Ferry CAPE MAY - During January, traffic on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry- increased by 1.994 .vehicles and increased by 5.929 passengers from January. 1985, according to David S Chapman, general manager of the Cape MayLewes Ferry. Ferry traffic for this January, was 7.086 vehicles and 17,313 passengers, compared to 5,092 vehicles and 11.384 passengers for January. 1985, an increase of 39.2 percent for vehicles and an increase of 52 percent for passengers.

| Updated j Nursing I Course COURT HOUSE - A course in Medical/Surgical Nursing is being offered by Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital's inservice education department to help update nurses' skills. Open to BTMH employees and are R.N.'s and L.P.N. 's, the program is divided into a medical section and surgical section, each designed to enhance the professional skills of nurses working in general medical/surgical nursing. TOPICS TO BE covered will include a review of circulatory, respiratory, muscular, skeletal, renal, gastrointestinal, and neurological diseases. Medical and surgical aspects of these areas will be reviewed as well as latest cancer therapies and the alcoholic patient. The course will be taught by BTMH physicians, nurses, and health care professionals in specialty fields. Classes will meet 8 a.m. -4 p.m. Thursdays March 13 through April 24. A fee will be required of nurses not employed at Burdette Tomlin. THE TEXTBOOK required is Brunner and Suddarth "Textbook of Medical Surgical Nursing" 4th and 5th edition. For those who do not own it. a booklet of required readings will he made up for a charge. Anyone interested in attending or desiring further information can call 465-2000, extension 5370.
