Kiwanis, Montreal Share First Place

CAPE MAY - Youth Basketball, the Kiwanis Gub defeated Sol Needles Agency 20-18 in a battle of Junior Division heavyweights. The first place Kiwanis Club had a balanced scoring attack led by A.J. Briant and Dan Walsh, who had six points apiece. Yolanda Jones had 4 points in her first game of

the year. Sol Needles was led by Dave Flickinger with eight points and Billy Ackley with six points. IN THE MOST exciting game of the day, a basket by Matt Lucas with one second left gave Keltie News a 12-10 victory over Roth's Real Estate. Lucas did an excellent job in running the offense and scored six points. Mike Millard also

scored six points for the winners. Roth's Real Estate was led by Gera Tatum and Jeff Bitting with four points apiece. In senior Division play. Breakers Win Two From Net Leaders

CAPE MAY - In Men's Recreation Volleyball, the Coast Guard Breakers took two of three exciting games over National Associates 15-11, 16-18 and 15-10. The Coast Guard got great net play in the first game from Ed Alrazado and good sets from team captain Mark Townsend. A hit by Norm La Bounty proved to be the second game winner for National Associates. The digs of Don Fox and hits by Wayne Plocher with the final points being served by Bob Rineili put the Coast Guard over the top in the final game. ECKEL S DIESEL lost a game in the loss column as it took two of three over Carlos O'Brien's 15-8, 15-4, and 10-15.
