Women's Volleyball At Finals
CAPE MAY - In the semi-finals of Women's Recreation Volleyball, the
Lobster House defeated Pete's Racquet Club in four games. Pete's Racquet
Club won the first game 15-11 behind the fine play of Judy Ricco. Judy Mohler and Donna Mazurek. The Lobster House came back to win the next three games 15-6. 15-10 and 16-14. They were led by the serves of Tasha Jordon and the aggressive play of Joanne De Costa. Liz Fuller and Vicki Shaw . THE LOBSTER House will meet Cape Insurance because the Cape Insurance team defeated a tough National Associates team in five games 15-11, 12-15. 15-9. 6-15 and 15-9. Cape Insurance got good games out of LouAnn Rucci and Fran Bratten. The National Associates team kept improving all season long and played well in the playoffs. Mary Gallagher and Debbie Schollenberger played well for National Associates. Sandpiper Edges Out Middle Rec CAPE MAY - Sandpiper Monogramming Inc. clinched first place in Women's Power Volleyball with a four game sweep of Jackson Mountain Cafe of 15-9. 15-6, 16-14 and 15-7 Middle Township Recreation/Westside Market finished with the same record by sweeping Washington Street Gallery 15-5. 15-6. 15-1 and 15-7. In head to head competi tion this year.
