Open House At Center
MARMORA - The Olympic Center Karate School. Route 9, will hold open house noon-5 p.m. Saturday, April 12, to celebrate its first year in the county. There will be demonstrations including board
breaking, self defense, weapons, kata, and sparring. A new self defense course for adults will be introduced. Refreshments will be served. For further information, call 624-0493.
Little League Aides Needed CAPE MAY - The Greater Cape May Little League is in need of umpires aged 18 and up. for softball and baseball. Also needed are softball coaches. Campground Cops Title 2nd Time CAPE MAY - Whippoor will Campground won its second consecutive championship in Men's Power Volleyball by taking three of five games from The Potter 15-12. 15-10, 11-15, 14-16 and 16-14. This championship match featured two of the best volleyball players in the league in Steve ■'Stick" Faragher of Whippoorwill and Stuart Cohen of The Potter. IN THE FIRST two games, things went Whipoorwill's way as Faragher and Greg Shultz dominated the action. The Potter played much better in the second game and it carried over as it won the third and fourth games. In game 4. The Potter fought off two match points as it was down 14-9. The Potter's good play continued into the last game as the team took a 9-0 lead before Whippoorwill regrouped and won the match on a spike by Brian Lihou. Whippoorw ill's championship roster included Tom Swcnk, Shultz. Faragher. Dave DeKocher and Lihou. League Forming CAPE MAY- There wUI be an organizational meeting for the city women's softball league 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. March 26. at Convention Hall.
