Chamber Study: Most Country Growth Continues

restaurant facilities and hospital patients, the county Chamber of Commerce survey of 1985 economic indicators shows continuing growth. Parochial school enrollment dropped from 1,528 in 1984 to 1,1416 in 1985. Restaurant and dining facilities went from 1,538 in 1984 to 1,278 in 1985. The number of patients at Burdette Tomlin Memorial (Hospital decreased from 1 7,722 in 1984 to 6,835 in 1985, j but patient days edged up i from 64,436 to 64,577. The various figures for 1984 and 1985, respectively, are: Winter population: 93,028, ■95,718; Summer: 587,798, 593,856. Winter electrical connections: 77,624, 80,230; summer: 83,337, 85,841. Business telephone connections: 10,814, 14,101; resident: 59,750, 60,090. WINTER GAS connections: 22,035, 22,800; summer: 27,015, 27,350.
